Liar, Liar

It was only yesterday when the PM dismissed the rumour on him announcing the dissolution of the Parliament today.

And what did he do today? At 11.22 a.m., Malaysiakini reported:

The prime minister has called for a press conference at his office at 12.30pm where he is expected to announce the dissolution of the Parliament.

And at 12.37 a.m., Malaysiakini reported:

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today announced the dissolution of the Parliament at a specially arranged press conference at his office in Putrajaya.

He made a brief statement to the media - and carried live by RTM - stating that the Election Commission will have to fix the date for the nation’s 12th general election.

If only Abdullah learn something from watching this movie...

If you didn't believe he is liar when it comes to his promises before, perhaps it is best you now reconsider. Do you trust this man when he promised to consider your needs?

dear kaki.ayam,

exactly my point. can we truly trust someone who lies with a smile and eyes wide open?

you know what to do...:)

err...well i know what to do, but just kind of hesitated in doing it....

cos, if the election is held in two to three weeks time, i am wondering if i should return home to vote...

cos a trip back would set me back by at least RM180, not forgetting the 4 hours driving from KL to Johor...

well, don't ask me why I didn't change my address... part of it was that I have only registered early last year and secondly, I don't know how much longer i will be staying in PJ...

anyway, given me a chance, will do the necessary...

Dear

kaki.ayam:

Why don't you take a bus ride? I am quite sure your 1 vote will make a difference. Think about those people working overseas and lament they can't fly back?... hehe...sorry about the guilt trip...

zewt:
i also remember he said work with me, i will fight corruption, bla, bla, bla... fed up of hearing all these "i".

Hello,

You might like to watch this video. Anwar talking about the possibility of reducing the price of petrol.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzK5BAt8ets

If opposition parties collectively win Parliament seats, resulting in the stepping down of Badawi, Anwar will take over as PM when his ban is lifted on April 15 2008.

If Anwar doesn't perform up to par, then just kick him out in the next GE ;)

Dear Charlotte,

This I know very well. Which one of the reason why I want to remain apolitical. In general I don't trust politicians, yet to have none to dominate for too long all the time and a large choices to choose from, somehow, the "hidden hand" will fix the situation.

yes, we need to transform the political scene into a highly competitive market scene...:)
